BBLOC are thrilled to be returning to the Regent Centre with their most revealing show to date! BBLOC are performing The Full Monty from Wednesday 21 – Saturday 24 March at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
Based on the cult hit film of the same name, a ten-time Tony Award nominee, the show is filled with honest affection, engaging melodies and the most highly anticipated closing number of any show. The powerhouse team of Terrence McNally (Ragtime) and David Yazbek (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) cook up a real crowd-pleaser that both entertains and grabs your heart.
While spying on their wives at a girls’ night out, a group of unemployed steelworkers from Buffalo see how much the women enjoy watching male strippers. Jealous, out of work and feeling emasculated, the men come up with a bold way to make some quick cash. In preparing, they find themselves extremely exposed; not merely physically but emotionally. As they conquer their fears, selfconsciousness and prejudices, the men come to discover that they’re stronger as a group, and the strength that they find in each other gives them the individual courage to ‘Let It Go.’
The Full Monty is a story full of heart. With a raucous mix of razorsharp humour and toe-tapping pizzazz, this is a heart-warming, upbeat musical comedy.
In conjunction with the Regent Centre, 4Dorset has a pair of tickets for The Full Monty for Friday 23 March at 7.30pm for one lucky winner. To enter the competition, answer this question:
Who played the lead role of Gaz in the film of The Full Monty?
Closing date is 31 January 2018. The first correct entry drawn will be the winner. Employees of Pulford Publicity Ltd or the Regent Centre are not permitted to enter. There is no cash alternative. The editor’s decision is final.
