Abacus orders new £800,000 motorhome hire fleet

Abacus, the Ferndown and Andover based motorhome hire specialists, have announced that their vehicle fleet will increase from 42 to 46 for 2016.
An £800,000 order has been placed with Webbs Motor Caravans Reading for nineteen 4-6 birth motorhomes, made up from a select range of manufacturers including Bailey and Sun Living.

Verwood Extravaganza this Saturday

Verwood’s Christmas tree light switch on will be this Saturday (12 December). All the usual festive treats, free rides on the ‘wheel’ and steam engine for children (donations accepted), choral society, brass band, stalls, burgers and of course, Father Christmas, courtesy of the Rotary Club of Verwood.

Woman guilty of murder

A woman has been found guilty of the murder of Phillip Nicholson who was found dead in a flat in Boscombe.
Isabella Gossling, 20 and of Bournemouth, was convicted yesterday at Winchester Crown Court following a week-long trial.
